This booklet provides analyzed gender equality statistics from different official statistics sources and intends to inform various stakeholders about gender issues existing in different sectors. It gives highlight of inequality existing between men and women in sectors of Population and Demography, Health, Education, Labour and employment, and Power and Influence. It also, provides information that will be used by government and other institutions in policy development, programming and decision making.

According Agenda 2030 of Sustainable Development Goal number 5 aims at achieving gender equality and empowering of all women and girls. This booklet make women and men visible and gender inequality gap will be seen easily.

The booklet comes from the efforts of the Tanzania Participants ( Mariam Kitembe (NBS), Philbert Mrema (NBS), Chrisker Masaki (EASTC) and Joyce Mkina (Haki Elimu and Judith Luande) who attended the International Training Programme (ITP 307) conducted in Sweden on May, 2016.
