Regional Gross Domestic Product
Regional Gross Domestic Product (RGDP) refers to coherent, consistent and integrated sets of macroeconomic accounts and tables designed for analytical and policy purposes compiled at regional level. Tanzania Mainland has 26 regions and each region constitutes an economic territory used for the compilation of RGDP estimates. Objectives of RGDP include measuring the performance of each economic activity in the region, measuring the contribution of each economic activity in the region and to compare economic performance among different regions in the country.
